Approach

With only two weeks before the IPL and a competitor already in the market, the project demanded speed and clarity. The goal was to create a lightweight, high-engagement feature that could be quickly understood and used by users for live matches scenarios. Business requirements and feasibility guided every decision, with a focus on delivering maximum impact in minimum time.

Final Designs

Main Team Page

The Main Lobby is the entry point where users discover upcoming matches and contests. The design focuses on clarity and quick decision-making — showcasing match details, contest highlights, and promotional features upfront.

Quick Picks Page

The Create Team page is where the core fantasy experience happens. It was designed to be intuitive, fast, and engaging, allowing users to pick players within constraints like budget and team balance. The emphasis was on visual clarity (player stats, selection indicators, and roles) and guidance through subtle cues, ensuring even first-time users could build a team confidently without confusion.

For users who want full control, this flow lets them build a team from scratch. The touchpoint makes it easy to start creating quickly while still feeling guided with stats and insights.

Live and Completed Team page

For Live matches, the design highlights real-time scores, leaderboards, and progress so users can instantly track performance.

For Completed matches, the focus shifts to results, winnings, and insights, making it easy for users to review outcomes and build trust in the platform.
